The Little Pink Ribbon…

Is a gift that I give to you.
I merely ask that you pass it on
….Please send it to a friend or two.
The ribbon is love
And the ribbon is prayer.
And it honors those who are gone.
It cries for a cure to cancer
While the frenzied race goes on.
It calls to brave crusaders,
and it asks that we all unite
to battle against the evil foe
on and on
And throughout the night.
The little pink ribbon placed upon this page
Is known across each land.
It is the symbol of hope and of courage,
Of a kind and helping hand.
It unites us as a people
And it soothes our sorrowed hearts.
It fills our souls with kindness
With the message that it imparts.
