Today is my Grandma's birthday... She would have been 79 yrs old today. She died 9 years ago after a long battle with breast cancer...
She is the reason behind my passion to find a cure and to improve detection and treatment for so many millions of men and women. I am so lucky to have known such a beautiful, loving, strong woman. She is the one who taught me how to care for other people, how to laugh about the little things, and how to be a strong woman through the toughest times.
I love you Grandma and I miss you but I will never forget you.
